Description: Compression check: engine has to be sent to the machine shop.
Remove the engine. Remove and replace: suspension, front coil covers, front hubs, brake lines. Clean and paint frame parts and steering box; install tie rods, connect steering, test fit sway bar, idle arm, clean up engine bay. Remove gas tank, paint engine bay. Remove, clean and paint: rear drums, rear differential cover, paint the undercarriage and trunk area. Remove clean and degrease transmission. Disassembly interior of the car. Remove and replace front driver and passenger side floor, remove trailing arms from both sides. Remove and replace: brake lines, brake hoses, touch up with black paint. Metal work driver side rear, cut, weld, sand.
Strip the paint from main body.
Metal work on: doors, b pillars and inside rain channels, trunk lid, hood on underside.
Disassembly rear bumper, sandblast and primed. Clean and paint brackets.
Weld passenger side front fender, grind and weld driver side front fender. Body work on driver side rear, check fender fitment. Weld in brace and patch. Continue with body work on front fenders, block and primed. Work on passenger side fender fitment. Body work, paint a third coat of primer, block again. Continue body work on the rest of the body, block and prime. Bolt up the inner fender and replace the rubber. Sandblast and paint the door hinges. Realign steering box, degrease and paint under frame, seal. Prepare and paint differential. Engine back, prepare for engine assembly: sandblast and paint engine parts and valve covers. Install sound deadener. Remove and replace: water pump, power steering pump, install alternator and distributor. Remove and replace control upper arms for rear differential. Remove and replace coil spring. Install new engine mounts. Attach transmission to engine, install thermostat housing, clean and paint flex plate, fill torque converter, install engine. Install rear transmission cross brace and mounts, connect engine mounts, fix linkage on shifter, install headers, install fuel pump and sending unit. Install new gas tank, fuel lines, fuel filter and rear fuel lines. Install exhaust. Add brake fluid, bleed brakes. Run wiring for terminator, phase distributor-pre time; install coolant sensor, mount terminator ECU and hyper spark, install power steering line, radiator, wiring. Adjust suspension. Install fuel pressure regulator, wire up fuel pressure sensor, wire up oil pressure sensor, fabricate fuel line return. Finish fuel line to carburetor, install radiator, radiator hoses, fan, crank pulley. Run fuel lines; install starter, remove and replace heater box inner and outer, replace heater core, remove seized brake lines, connect and hook up shift linkage. Run heater lines, install spark plug wires. Install transmission lines; weld in Oxygen sensor bung; install battery cables, belts and tension, wire up positive for Holley Sniper; fill with coolant. Add oil to engine, modify and weld dipstick, set up tune on terminator, fill transmission with fluid. Get engine running. Prepare body panels for paint, spray sealer. Paint body panels. Paint hood, doors, trunk lid and bumpers. Body work on main body, prepare and paint. Assembly of body panels. Work on door gaps, install lid and hood. Wet and polish the car. Assembly passenger door, door panel, front end lights and grill. Assembly driver side door seals, install interior carpet, wheel arches, body parts, front bumper, door window assembly. Install driver side seals, adjust door windows. Install and mount bumper and bumper lights, clean running board trim. Install driver side window gasket, clean interior panels and upholstery. Install seats.
Wire in radio, install speakers, test radio, clean dash, fix front seat center console. Replace top seals. Install windshield, convertible top seals, trunk latch. Install e brake cable driver side, and passenger side, rocker covers. Clean and paint bumper brackets black. Install driver side rocker trim. Install new headlights, power side door panel, remove and replace tires. Install gas cap, trunk mat, sill moldings, door strikes, radiator overflow tank, spare tire, kill switch and kill switch cables. Install rear window cranks. Install foam on trunk lid. Test drive!
